Two teens charged after Northcote shooting

Two teenagers have been charged following a shooting incident on Auckland’s North Shore last week.

The 16-year-old and 18-year-old are charged with wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm and the commission of an offence using a firearm.

They are due to appear in the North Shore Youth Court tomorrow.

Police launched an investigation after a teenager suffered a gunshot injury in Northcote’s Cadness Reserve on 26 February.

He will have lasting injuries and police say he has lost sight in one eye.
