HBO Max has announced that all 12 episodes of its animated comedy The Prince will premiere at midnight on Wednesday.
Creator Gary Janetti also provides the voice of Prince George, the third in line to the British throne, who mocks the rest of his royal family in the show.
In a trailer, Prince George receives a postcard from his uncle, Prince Harry, and aunt, Meghan Markle. In a scene mocking their California apartment, Orlando Bloom and Condola Rashad play the duke and duchess of Sussex, respectively.
Iwan Rheon plays Prince William, while Lucy Punch portrays Kate Middleton. The couple is shown in bed before William orders a butler to carry him to the bathroom.
Dan Stevens plays Prince Charles, and Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, appears in the trailer but does not speak. Like a giddy child, Charles responds to Queen Elizabeth’s knock at the door, as voiced by Frances de la Tour.
Princess Charlotte is played by Sophie Turner, and Owen, the butler, is played by Alan Cumming.
Andy Cohen, Brad Goreski, Kelly Ripa, and “Real Housewives” Garcelle Beuavais, Erika Jayne, Dorit Kemsley, Tedd Mellencamp, Kyle Richards, and Lisa Rinna will all appear as themselves as guests on HBO Max.
