‘The Crown’ and ‘The Mandalorian’ receive the most Emmy nominations.

Ted Lasso, RuPaul’s Drag Race, and other shows received nominations for the 73rd annual Emmy Awards on Tuesday.

The Crown and The Mandalorian each get 24 nominations, with WandaVision coming in second with 23. Ted Lasso earned 20 nominations, while The Handmaid’s Tale and Saturday Night Live both received 21.

Netflix received 129 nominations, while HBO received 130.

The candidates were revealed by Ron Cephas Jones (This is Us) and his daughter Jasmine Cephas Jones (Blindspotting) with Television Academy chairman and CEO Frank Scherma.

 

The Emmy Awards are taking place Sept. 19 and will air live at 8 p.m. EDT on CBS from the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles. The ceremony celebrates excellence in television.

Cedric the Entertainer is serving as the host of the Emmys. The gala will be an in-person event with a live audience.
