Manchester United’s 84th minute equaliser against Liverpool shouldn’t have stood.
Zlatan Ibrahimovic scored a brilliant header at Old Trafford to cancel out James Milner’s first half penalty.
However replays showed that Antonio Valencia was offside in the build-up to the goal.
The Manchester United right-back took a quick throw-in on the right and when he received it back was beyond the last Liverpool defender.
His cross led to Marouane Fellaini heading the ball onto the post and in the next phase Valencia crossed for Ibrahimovic to head the ball into the net.

The linesman appeared well out of position when Valencia was offside, something noted by commentator Gary Neville.
‘The linesman is in a terrible position, he really is,’ he said on Sky Sports. ‘He’s five yards out of line.’
offside-2

The match ended 1-1.
