The New York Giants officially ruled out defensive end Jason Pierre-Paul for Sunday's wild-card game against the Green Bay Packers.
Pierre-Paul (core muscle) hasn't practiced since undergoing sports hernia surgery in early December. He has seven sacks in 12 games this season.
Cornerback Janoris Jenkins (back) and safety Nat Berhe (concussion) are expected to play for the Giants (11-5). Giants defensive end Owa Odighizuwa (hamstring) was listed as doubtful.
For the Packers (10-6), there were no surprises on Friday's injury report even with two players ruled out and seven players listed as questionable.
The Packers officially ruled out cornerback Quinten Rollins and running back James Starks with concussions.
Wide receiver Randall Cobb (ankle) and cornerback Damarious Randall (knee) were both listed as questionable and expected to play. Cobb was limited in Friday's practice with Randall as a full participant.
Right tackle Bryan Bulaga (abdomen) and center J.C. Tretter (knee) also were listed as questionable and both practiced all week. Linebackers Joe Thomas (back), Jayrone Elliott (hand) and Nick Perry (hand) round out the group of questionable players.
