A new BBC comedy, depicting brides of terrorists in a spoof reality show-style sketch, has been criticized for being “insensitive.” The skit is called, “The Real Housewives of ISIS,” which is based upon the popular reality television show from the U.S. that was recently exported to Britain. Of course, the “tolerant” left is losing it.
In one clip, actresses dressed as the brides of jihadists snap selfies for Instagram, model suicide vests and pine over the fact that their husbands fantasize about the slew of virgins they will receive after killing in the name of Allah.

Many have reacted unfavorably to “The Real Housewives of ISIS,” with one critic writing on Facebook, “The humor is only funny if you look down on someone else and enjoy seeing them unhappy because they are not white and Christian.”
“You are utterly abhorrent BBC. You are going to joke about mass rape too or the use of children as suicide bombers or make light of your role in promoting extremism to deceived and abused women,” commented social media user Vanessa Beely, according to The Telegraph. “Sick, you are truly sick in the head and morally bankrupt.”
“Not only does it mock the very real oppression suffered by women caught under the yoke of ISIS, it’s also very badly written,” wrote Waseem Khan.
To be fair, the Islamic State has been horrifyingly successful at waging their propaganda campaigns online via social media in order to gain followers in the group’s sick quest to establish a worldwide Muslim caliphate by destroying Western culture and lives. Why not combat this terrorist propaganda with comedy that presents a sobering account of a day in the life of an Islamic bride?
Comedy is an excellent way to reach impressionable viewers and show them how dismal a future with radical Islam truly is. Just consider how many people liberal comedians like Jon Stuart reach with their comedy programs, which proved to be an effective way for Hillary Clinton and her camp to influence the electorate during the presidential election season of 2016.
