Jurgen Klopp is not certain how serious Jordan Henderson’s injury is after the Liverpool captain was forced off during the victory over Manchester City.
The midfielder was replaced with Divock Origi after 64 minutes after being seen limping.
After the 1-0 win, Klopp was asked whether the substitution was tactical or due to another problem.
‘It was not tactical,’ said the Liverpool manager. ‘It was a kind of injury with the heel. I was aware he was limping a bit. I don’t know exactly. I hope it’s not too serious but I cannot say.’
He’s played every Premier League game this season and has made more passes than any player in the division.
